Kunstpassasjen (”the Art Arcade”) represents a new setting for national and international contemporary art. Located in the Oslo Metro, it starts near the passageway between the lobbies at Jernbanetorget Metro Station. The project is a joint venture involving the Oslo Metro Company and Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art.
Kunstpassasjen will be run as a pilot scheme for a year, but the intention is to turn it into a permanent exhibition area for shows of varying content and duration, but organized especially for this particular setting.
